Daily Dose of Fitness

Ahh! My first of many posts that I will do daily to keep track of my eating habits (I would say diet, but I can never actually stick to one and I don’t really care for the word “diet”..yuck) and workout routine! I plan on having one of these posts done every night not only to keep myself accountable and track my progress, but also so you all can follow along and may gain motivation or learn something new!

Lets start with the workout of the day!

Today was a bit crazy between classes, finals, and the first annual wreath making class with momma! (See pictures below!) But I did squeeze in an at home workout I found off of one of my favorite bloggers, Peanut Butter Fingers! (She’s absolutely fabulous! Go check out her blog if you haven’t already!) It took me around 35 minutes to complete, but for some it may only take 25 minutes!

Just throw on some music and you will be sweating in no time! No gear needed!!

Now we can move onto all the munching I did today!

Breakfast:

-A Naked Juice— Berry Blast! I’ve been drinking these way to often lately! They serve as a great low calorie drink that provides all the fabulous vitamins and nutrients you need for the day and the type of those vitamins all depend on the flavor you get! (I have personally loved every one that I have tried.)

Lunch:

A serving of Pretzel Crisps, a Special K Pastry Crisp, and a Yoplait Yogurt!

Okay, okay! I know it’s not the most well rounded meal of the day and sounds like the typical college meal, but I haven’t been grocery shopping since I’ve been back to my house downtown from Thanksgiving Break! That’s on the To-Do list for tomorrow!

Dinner:

– A Grilled Chicken Salad with cucumbers, clementines, almonds, and poppy seed dressing.— It sounds like a weird mix of foods, but it was surprisingly good! Full of your fruits, veggies, and nuts!

It’s also fair to say that this was not homemade! I went out to dinner with my mom before our class!

Well, that’s all for today! I want to try and keep this blog as day-by-day as possible. You can’t just change your whole lifestyle over night, so I will take it one step at a time. I feel like I did well today!

And one last thing for those who are interested! Here are some quick pictures of the wreath making class we took today! Officially a tradition…well maybe!
