Guess Who’s Back!

Ahh! Hi Everyone! I’m so so excited to be back! So, its been a little over a month since my last blog post and no, I haven’t forgotten about you all in the slightest! When I finished up last semester everything got slightly hectic with the holidays and family trips and unfortunately the blog fell on the back burned for a little while. However, since I’m about to start my next semester of classes in a few days, I’m ready to get back to blogging everyday and finding the rhythm to my health lifestyle again. (It’s no secret that it has been sort of missing for the past month.) I have so many great ideas for the blog and I can’t wait to share all of them with you all! But first, let me give y’all a quick recap of whats been going on during my month of absence!

Before I had even finished up my final exams, Christmas was already in full swing at my house! Mom had started putting up the lights and all of her decorations inside, but it’s always a family tradition to pick out our Christmas tree with all four of us (My mom, dad, brother Haden, and myself). So, as soon as my brother and I were back home that was the first thing we did!

The first weekend I was out of school we had our annual family Christmas party! This year it was at my parents house and my dads whole side of the family came to eat yummy food, open a few presents, and enjoy everyones company.

The newest member of the family made his first appearance at the Christmas party! Sebastian was just entirely too adorable!

In the beginning of my break, I did try to keep track of my workouts and eating habits, but it was short lived and I promise I will make it up to you all starting…. now!

A quick 3 mile run outside! (Sadly the only one) I did get a few cycling classes in here and there throughout the break though!
A yummy omelet I fixed up for Sammy one morning! Five eggs with red peppers, green peppers, onions, and a hint of bacon bits and two pieces of toast!

My parents, Sammy, and I made a trip downtown to eat at Bottoms Up Pizza and look at the Christmas lights that are always so beautiful. However, it was a little to chilly for my family, so we just drove by the lights instead of actually getting out to look at them. But, I obviously had to make Sammy hop out of the car for a couple minutes to take some cliche couple Christmas pictures in the lights! And I literally mean a couple of minutes, my dad kept the car running, while my mom took our pictures and then we were off back to the house where a fire was waiting!

Soon enough Christmas came around and it was another amazing year! All of my grandparents come to my parents house every year on Christmas Eve and we spend the holiday altogether. It’s always so nice to have everyone together and it really makes it a special time! My parents seem to keep out-doing themselves every year with the gifts and mom is always outdoing herself with the decorations!

I couldn’t help but be obsessed with my Christmas pajamas and matching new slippers!

Next thing I knew it was already New Years Eve! Sammy and I spent the night with a bonfire, a giant swing, and amazing friends. I only have one picture from that night, but sometimes the blurry pictures are the best ones and no pictures means the best times!

Sammy, Haden, my parents, my brothers friend, and I started the new years off immediately with a wonderful cruise around the Caribbean. We went to four different ports and it couldn’t have been a better trip! I will be doing a whole blog post on it soon to recap everything and put up all the pictures we took, but here is a sneak peak for now!

I’m ready to be back already!

It was a great ending to 2015, but I am beyond ready for 2016!

Thanks for reading and I’ll be back tomorrow! Xx
